[摘要]：Cyclopropane hemimalonates, when treated with sodium azide, undergo a tandem ring-opening decarboxylation to produce gamma-azidobutyric acids in good yields. These adducts were hydrogenated to form gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) methyl esters.
