Synthesis of the Azepinoindole Framework via Oxidative Heck (Fujiwara-Moritani) Cyclization

[摘要]：A catalytic oxidative Heck (Fujiwara-Moritani) cyclization has been evaluated for construction of the azepinoindole framework starting from readily available 3-indoleacetic acid amides. The supporting role of the amide group in the substrate has been demonstrated necessary for the success of the cyclization.
