[摘要]：Multidrug resistance (MDR) in cancer cells con lead to chemotherapeutic failure The lock of effective therapies has created a growing need for developing new and effective chemotherapeutic agents to reverse MDR Recently, a wide variety of natural compounds derived from medicinal plants hove been extensively studied in terms of the reversal of MDR in cancer These natural compounds contain greater characteristics of high chemical diversity and biochemical specificity than standard chemical compounds Some of the compounds hove exhibited great medicinal value in preclinical and clinical trials However, there ore still innumerable potentially useful medicinal herbs waiting to be evaluated In this review, we focus on the present research of natural products in the reversal of MDR The reported MDR-reversing agents are discussed according to their chemical class, including flavonoids, alkaloids and saponins |
