[摘要]Highly localized and controlled metal nanoparticle synthesis using nanoscale corona discharge in aqueous solutions is illustrated. As a case study, gold nanoparticles are successfully deposited at the very tip of carbon nanopipettes to act as surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) probes.
