[摘要]：An efficient method for the transformation of benzyl alcs. into their Me or Et ethers was established using 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine (TCT) and DMSO in MeOH or EtOH. This procedure chemoselectively converts benzylic OH into the corresponding Me or Et ethers in the presence of aliph. or phenolic OH.
