Total Synthesis of Pseudodehydrothyrsiferol.

[摘要]：An enantioselective total synthesis of pseudodehydrothyrsiferol (I) has been accomplished. The synthetic sequence highlights formation of the highly strained tetrahydropyran C-ring by a Mitsunobu-type SN2 reaction with an oxygen nucleophile.
