[摘要]:The crystn. solvent affects the temp. and light dependence of the valence tautomeric behavior of a 1:1 Co-dioxolene compd., thus offering a new possibility of tuning its charge distribution. The complex [Co(Me2tpa)(DBCat)]PF6 (Me2tpa = bis(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethyl)(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, DBCat = 3,5-di-tert-butylcatecholate) was prepd. and characterized by x-ray crystallog. and magnetic and photomagnetic expts. This approach paves the way for the development of mol. magnetic materials whose properties may be controlled by chem. means. |
