Self-assembling squares with amino acid-decorated bipyridines: heterochiral self-sorting of dynamically interconverting diastereomers.

[摘要]：Heterochiral self-sorting into only one stereoisomer is obsd. when metallo-supramol. squares, [M4L4(dppp)4](OTf)8, self-assemble from amino acid-substituted, dynamically interconverting bipyridine stereoisomers (L, I, aR and aS forms) and (dppp)M(OTf)2 corners (M = Pd, Pt; dppp = 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane). L, its R,R enantiomer, and the platinum metallo-supramol. square complex [Pt4L4(dppp)4](OTf)8 were characterized by x-ray crystallog.
