New Insight into Ni(II)-Catalyzed Cyclization Reactions of Propargylic Compounds with Soft Nucleophiles: Novel Indenes Formation.

[摘要]An advance in nickel(II)-catalyzed carboannulation reactions is disclosed. Highly substituted indene derivs. are readily prepd. in moderate to excellent yields under very mild reaction conditions in air via a nickel(II)-catalyzed cyclization of propargylic compds. with soft nucleophiles. Thus, reaction of the phenylpropynyl carbonate I in DMF contg. Cs2CO2 and Ni3(PO4)2 at 60?for 1-3 h have 91% indene II.
