Corrole: the little big porphyrinoid.

[摘要]：A review. In this account, the author describes the synthetic efforts of his group on the prepn. and functionalization of corrole derivs. The work started with b-alkylcoroles and continued with the prepn. of 5,10,15-triarylcorroles. The peripheral functionalization of both the b-alkyl- and meso-triarylcorroles is described, together with several examples of the intriguing and unexpected reactivity of this deceptive macrocycle in these reactions.
