Development of bifunctional acyclic hydroxylguanidine organocatalyst: application to asymmetric nucleophilic epoxidation.

[摘要]：Asym. epoxidn. of a,b-unsatd. ketones using acyclic hydroxyguanidine I as a new bifunctional organocatalyst is described. Hydroxyguanidine I promoted the reaction to give the corresponding epoxy ketones in good yields (?9% yield) and enantioselectivity (?3% ee).
