[摘要]：The synthesis, characterization, and phys. properties of 2,3,5,6-tetraphenylpyrazine N,N-dioxide are reported. A specific redn. mechanism of an oxime using Zn with NH4Cl to yield NH2OH was performed. This was followed by a condensation reaction with H2SO4 that leads to 2,3,5,6-tetraphenylpyrazine N,N-dioxide. The product was characterized by IR, UV, and 1H- and 13C-NMR as well as theor. computations.
