[摘要]An angiogenic microfiber patch that releases angiogenic growth factors along aligned fibers and subsequently directs the spacing and orientation of mature and functional blood vessel formation is presented. The fiber patches are prepared by electrostatically binding electrosprayed vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-encapsulating poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) microparticles with electrospun poly(lactide) (PLA) microfibers.
