[摘要]：The transcription factor nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kappa B) induces the expression of various inflammatory genes. In the common NF-kappa B signaling pathway, peperomin E and 2,6-didehydropeperomin B inhibited I kappa B degradation upon stimulation with TNF-alpha or interleukin-1. Consistent with these results, peperomin E and 2,6-didehydropeperomin B blocked the TNF-alpha-induced activation of I kappa B kinase, while they had no direct effect on the I kappa B kinase activity. Our present results clearly demonstrate that peperomins inhibit the NF-kappa B signaling pathway by blocking I kappa B kinase activation. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
