A Simple, Mild, and Efficient Procedure for High-Yield Synthesis of Benzimidazoles Using Coppertriflate as Catalyst

[摘要]：Copper triflate has been found to be an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of benzimidazoles from o-phenylenediamine and aldehydes at reflux temperature under acetonitrile solvent. This new method consistently has the advantage of excellent yields (74-95%) at reflux temperature.
