Synthesis and properties of S-aminothiiranium salts of anti- and syn-9,9'-bibenzonorbornenylidenes and 2,2'-biadamantylidene.

[摘要]：S-Aminothiiranium salts of anti- and syn-9,9'-bibenzonorbornenylidenes and 2,2'-biadamantylidene were synthesized by reacting thiiranes with O-mesitylenesulfonylhydroxylamine. Decompn. of I譓esSO3- and III譓esSO3- in CD2Cl2 at rt yielded a mixt. of the corresponding alkenes and thiiranes, whereas that of II譓esSO3- yielded 1,2-thiazetidin-2-ium salts. A CH2Cl2 soln. of 1,2-thiazetidin-2-ium salt was treated briefly with aq. NaHCO3 at 0 癈 to produce N-unsubstituted 1,2-thiazetidine.
