Regioselective double nucleophilic addition reaction leading to the synthesis of b-lactams.

[摘要]：b-Lactams were prepd. in a regio- and stereoselective manner using the double nucleophilic addn. of ketene silyl acetals and ketene silyl thioacetals to a,b-unsatd. imines followed by base-promoted cyclization. An attempted approach to 2-arylcarbapenem is also described.
