An efficient three-component, one-pot synthesis of new pyrimido[4,5-d]pyrimidine-2,4-diones.

[摘要]：New pyrimido[4,5-d]pyrimidine-2,4-(1H,3H,5H,8H)-dione derivs. were synthesized in good yields in a three-component, one-pot, and efficient process by condensation reaction of 6-amino-1,3-dimethyluracil, aldehydes, and S-benzylisothiourea hydrochloride under solvent-free conditions.
