[摘要]:In the past the Journal of Medicinal Chem. has required that the purity of all tested compds. should be not less than 98% and that documentation be provided as evidence of purity. The revised requirement states that tested compds., whether synthesized or purchased, should possess a purity of not less than 95%. All scientifically established methods (e.g., HPLC, combustion anal.) of establishing purity are acceptable. The specific anal. method used to det. purity should be included in the general part of the exptl. section together with a statement confirming >95% purity. No documentation for purity is required in the manuscript. It should be noted that spectral data will not be accepted as a criterion of purity. When the purity of a particular compd. is less than 95%, the percent of purity should be specified at the end of the description of its synthesis in the exptl. section. |
