Microwave-assisted one-pot synthesis of dihydrocoumarins from phenols and cinnamoyl chloride.

[摘要]：A facile approach was developed for the synthesis of dihydrocoumarin derivs. through the reaction of phenols and cinnamoyl chloride in the presence of ecofriendly solid-acid catalyst montmorillonite K-10 via a tandem esterification-Friedel-Crafts alkylation process under microwave irradn. The catalyst could be easily recovered and recycled.
