Enhanced photooxidation sensitizers: the first examples of cyclometalated pyrene complexes of iridium(III)

[摘要]：The iridium(III) cyclometalation of alkylated pyrene-benzimidazole ligands proceeds in an unprecedented manner. The resultant complexes display remarkably enhanced photooxidation capabilities using 1,5-dihydroxynaphthalene as a substrate.
