Thiol-ubiquinone assisted fragmentation of gold nanoparticles

[摘要]：We report the spontaneous fragmentation of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) induced, in aqueous solution at room temperature, by thiol derivative of ubiquinone, which involves the energetic electron injection from thiol-ubiquinone to the gold nanoparticles.
