[摘要]：The efficient synthesis of (TMS)2-[7]helicene (racemic I) and double helicene, a D2-sym. dimer of 3,3'-bis(dithieno[2,3-b:3',2'-d]thiophene) (racemic II) was developed. The crystal structures of I and II show both strong intermol. p-p interactions and S鬃譙 interactions. UV/vis spectra reveal that both I and II show significant p-electron delocalization.
