Facile and highly regiospecific synthesis of 2-aryl-substituted pyrazolidin-3-ones from a,b-unsaturated N-acylbenzotriazoles and arylhydrazines.

[摘要]：The bis-addn. of arylhydrazines to a,b-unsatd. N-acylbenzotriazoles to form heterocyclic compds. was achieved in refluxing THF by using Et3N as promoter. The reaction was highly regioselective, and various 2-arylpyrazolidin-3-ones were obtained in moderate to good yields.
