Ammonium Metavanadate As an Efficient Catalyst for the Synthesis of 2,4,5-Triaryl-1H-imidazoles

[摘要]：Ammonium metavanadate (NH4VO3) is an inexpensive, efficient and mild catalyst for the synthesis of 2,4,5-triaryl-1H-imidazole from the one-pot three-component condensation of benzil/benzoin, an aldehyde and ammonium acetate in excellent yield. This method has the advantages of good yield, green catalyst, simple procedure, much faster reactions.
