Total Synthesis of the Proposed Structure of Mycosporulone: Structural Revision and an Unexpected Retro-Aldol/Aldol Reaction

[摘要]：The proposed structure of the fungal metabolite, mycosporulone 1, was prepared starting from the cyclohexenone ester 11 and the D-(R)-glyceraldehyde acetonide 12. The spectroscopic data for both 1 and its C2 epimer la did not match those reported for the natural product. A revised structure 29 for mycosporulone is proposed.
