[摘要]：An efficient method was developed for the Pd-free Cu-catalyzed Sonogashira cross-coupling of 2-iodoacetanilides with alkynes at room temp. The corresponding coupling products were obtained in good to excellent yields using CuI/N-methylpyrrolidine-2-carboxamide as the catalyst. This inexpensive catalyst system has high tolerance towards various functional groups in the substrates. This represents the lowest reaction temps. for Cu-catalyzed Sonogashira cross-coupling thus far.
