A simple method for the preparation of new alpha-oxoacetic acid esters with a plug flow reactor

[摘要]：The formation of ethyl 2-(2-substituted-4,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-2-oxoacetates in high yield, with negligible byproducts, by reaction of 2-substituted 4,5-dimethoxyphenyl bromides with diethyl oxalate using a plug flow reactor is reported.
