Synthesis of optically active 3-hydroxy-1,5-benzodiazepin-2-ones by ring transformation of glycidates

[摘要]：The reaction of enantiomerically pure aliphatic glycidates 8 and 11 with o-phenylenediamines 9 gives access to optically active 3-hydroxy-1,5-benzodiazepin-2-ones 10 and 12 by ring transformation. So far the formation of quinoxalinones has been observed in similar reactions.
