Structure and Total Synthesis of (-)-Myrionidine and (-)-Schoberine, Antimalarial Alkaloids from Myrioneuron nutans.

[摘要](5S,9S,10R,13S)-myrionamide II, along with the known schoberine (III), were isolated from the leaves of Myrioneuron nutans (Rubiaceae), and their structures were detd. from spectral anal., including mass spectrometry and 2D NMR. The total asym. syntheses of (-)-myrionidine, (-)-schoberine, their enantiomers as well as their 9-epimers derivs. were performed, allowing the detn. of their abs. configuration together with that of myrionamide. (-)-Myrionidine and its synthetic enantiomer IV showed a significant antimalarial activity on Plasmodium falciparum.
