The General Synthesis and Trapping of 3-Substituted 1-Chlorocyclopropenes.

[摘要]：Treatment of 1-bromo-2,2-dichloro-3-(trimethylsilyl)cyclopropane (I) with CsF in refluxing THF gave a chlorocyclopropenyl cation, which reacted with various nucleophiles to generate in situ 3-monosubstituted 1-chlorocyclopropenes. Diels-Alder reactions of these 3-monosubstituted 1-chlorocyclopropenes with 1,3-diphenylisobenzofuran yielded only the exo-anti diphenyloxatricyclooctenes II (R = Cl, MeO, PhS, H, Me2CHO) in excellent yield. When I was treated with CsF, 1,3-diphenylisobenzofuran, and H2O in refluxing THF the epoxynaphthalenecarboxaldehyde III was isolated.
