Near-Infrared Photochromic Diarylethene Iridium (III) Complex.

[摘要]：A novel Ir complex, (Py-BTE)2Ir(acac) [Py-BTE = 1,2-bis(5-pyridyl-2-methyl-3-thienyl)cyclopentene], coordinating to the photochromic diarylethene deriv. was prepd. This complex showed excellent near-IR photochromic behaviors accompanied by efficient quenching of phosphorescence emission. The Py-BTE ligand optimized structures and conformation was analyzed by B3LYP/6-31G* level.
