Bromination of Aromatic Compounds Using Ammonium Bromide and Oxone (R)

[摘要]：A simple, efficient and mild method for the selective bromination of activated aromatic compounds using ammonium bromide as the source of bromine and Oxone (R) as the oxidant in methanol or water as solvent is reported. The reaction proceeds at ambient temperature in yields ranging from moderate to excellent without a catalyst.
