Synthesis of alpha-Aminonitriles through Strecker Reaction of N-Tosylaldimines Using Molecular Iodine

[摘要]：The Strecker reaction of :N-tosylaldimines with trimethylsilyl cyanide in the presence of catalytic amount of iodine at room temperature produces the corresponding protected alpha-aminonitriles in high yields.
