[摘要]:PhSO2CH2CN reacts with DMF-DMA to afford 3-(dimethylamino)-2-(phenylsulfonyl)acrylonitrile (I). Subsequent reaction with 5-aminopyrazoles, 5-amino-1,2,4-triazole, and 2-aminobenzimidazole afforded new pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine, triazolo[4,3-a]pyrimidine, and pyrimido[1,2-a]benzimidazole derivs., resp. Also, I reacts with 1H-benzimidazole-2-acetonitrile to give the corresponding pyrido[1,2-a]benzimidazole. Some of the newly synthesized compds. were tested in vitro for antibacterial and antifungal activity, and showed promising results.
