[摘要]The design strategy for silicon-based fluorescent nanospheres with controllable sizes was based on the results of theor. calcns. These nanospheres are fully water dispersible, highly photoluminescent, extremely photostable, and suitably biocompatible. Cell imaging results further demonstrate the nanospheres are remarkably efficacious for real-time and long-term cell monitoring.
