Organocatalyzed asymmetric inverse-electron-demand hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of a,b-unsaturated trifluoromethyl ketones and aldehydes.

[摘要]：The inverse-electron-demand hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of aldehydes and a,b-unsatd. trifluoromethyl ketones occurred under mild conditions using a chiral diphenylprolinol silyl ether as the catalyst. After subsequent chem. transformations, the corresponding 6-trifluoromethyl-3,4-dihydropyran-2-ones were obtained in good enantioselectivities.
